Vegetarian Weekly Meal Plan

Who doesn’t love a good meal plan? I know I do!

Recently I started a new journey of being vegetarian. Not only am I vegetarian but I am gluten free and have been for a few years now. I honestly love my lifestyle choice and wouldn’t change it even if I could. After watching the film What the Health a few months ago and going Vegan for a while, I switched to being mostly plant-based. Now, I have curated a vegetarian meal plan that I want to share with the world.

I love fruits, veggies, quinoa, beans, and pretty much all types of dressings. Salads are my go to but there are actually a wide variety of gluten-free and vegetarian foods. Here are some tips when picking your meal plan.

Stay away from PROCESSED Foods

One of the hardest things with being gluten free are the gluten free options. I tend to stay away from gluten free products in general just because they are highly modified to BE labeled gluten free. So, if it doesn’t necessarily come gluten free, then stay away from it. This includes things such as gluten-free bread, chips, crackers and such. They have added sugars that some bodies can’t process well.

Eat early in the morning

There is a reason they say “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” Eating about 30 minutes after you get up will help give you energy for the day. I don’t think eating just one piece of fruit is enough for breakfast either. Try spicing things up with a smoothie or overnight oats, both of which you’ll find in my meal plan!


Try different vegetables, even if you normally don’t like them.

Honestly, I use to hate mushrooms until I went vegetarian. I tried them at different restaurants in my veggie meals and they really aren’t that bad. I actually bought them and cooked them! So, I recommend trying different things you normally didn’t like. You may be surprised with what you actually enjoy.

Drink Lots of H2O!

Water is so good for you. Honestly, I usually drink water more than the average 8 glasses a day. Drinking water in between meals helps keep you fuller longer! There has even been some studies shown that prove that the more water a person drinks, the more calories are burned. So fill up on that water and try to drink water with a high PH level for best results.
