Honestly, I would prefer to not pop 2  Advil or Midol a day while on my period. Instead, I like to opt for all natural ways to eliminate these little buggers called menstrual cramps. Fortunately, there is a way out of this monthly pain and it is all natural! Here are my TOP 5 Remedies for Menstrual Cramps relief.

This method has worked wonders for me! Before last year, I didn’t even know that pressure points could get rid of cramps. Here are two points that are truly winners when it comes to relieving menstrual cramps.

-P 1: located the bone on the inside of your ankle. Locate the point using your opposite hand. Find the bone, then place hand directly above it. Wherever your fourth finger falls, that is the point! Message this point on both sides. This point helps aid in menstrual cramp relief, digestion, and blood flow.

-P 2: pretty much all the points on your lower back and pelvis. If you place your hands in a triangle shape facing downward, you will pretty much hit all the pressure points in your pelvis. Massage the points near the top two corners of the triangle and the point where your thumbs meet!

2. Raspberry Tea

This tea will work wonders on your body. Raspberry tea is known to help with the fighting of the pelvic muscles and menstrual cramps. It also helps with intense menstruation and heavy bleeding. Make sure to drink this throughout the month to get all the benefits!

3. Heating Pad/Rice Bag

Since I love anything hot, a heating pad or a hot rice bag does the trick when it comes to cramps. You can create your own rice bag, too! I made mine awhile back and love it. Also, you can add a few drops of lavender essential oil to the rice bag for a little extra relaxation. Place this on your abdominal or lower back for best results. Be sure not to burn yourself, though! Heat helps with muscle relaxation and blood flow so give it a shot.

4. Yoga

I’m telling you what, yoga works wonders on your body. And I have found that yoga helps so much with cramps. Stretching is actually a great way to get that blood flowing and for less menstrual pain. My favorite poses for menstrual cramp relief are:

5. Magnesium Oil

After I started using Magnesium oil daily, my menstrual cramps have become less intense. When we are experiencing these wonderful sharp pains, our body is telling us that we are lacking something.
