The night before Thanksgiving is considered the biggest bar night of the year. Never before had I been out on this evening, let alone in Ferndale, until this year.
To start the evening off, we got some of the best Mediterranean food I have ever had from Anita’s Kitchen located in the heart of Ferndale. This place has such a smooth aesthetic and warm atmosphere. We were able to sit outside in the enclosed area! This is a plus considering the temperature was just around 30 degrees.
Their food is also exquisite. I got the Chicken Tawook with hummus and gf tubule. It’s safe to say I cleared the plate!
Next, we headed to WAB – Woodward Avenue Brewery. Being gluten free, it makes it hard to go to breweries. I settled for a Carmel Apple Mule which was Fantastic!
Our next stop was M Brewery. Silly me, I didn’t take any photos! Here are some stocks from their instagram though!
Our last stop of the evening was Valentine’s Distilling. All I have to say is, WOW. This place knows what’s up. Their cocktails are slightly pricey but are pure yumminess!
I highly suggest checking out all these places if you decide to make a stop in Ferndale. Michigan knows what’s up 🙂
Have you been out in Ferndale? What places do you recommend?
